Scheduled
Dear GitGuardian customer,

We would like to inform you that there will be a scheduled down time on Monday 04/26 at 7:00am UTC (1:00am Eastern time, 10pm Pacific on Sunday) on our Public Monitoring application (https://enterprise.gitguardian.com). The duration of this downtime will be approximately 7 hours. During downtime, we will be improving our database infrastructure and systems in order to speed up our overall service.

To ensure uptime and stability of the platform, we are performing this upgrade on our own infrastructure during the night of Sunday to Monday (PST time) to ensure a smooth transition.

During this maintenance window, the GitGuardian web platform will be inaccessible and any incident notifications will be paused. All operations around the platform, including triggering of incidents, delivery of alerting emails, and any other notifications will resume immediately after the maintenance window.

Most importantly, during the maintenance window, we will continue to store all commits and events we collect. You will therefore experience a delay in incident notifications (you should expect up to 6-7 hours of delay between the moment a commit is pushed and it’s appearance in the GitGuardian dashboard).

We won’t miss any commits or any potential incidents that might occur during the maintenance window.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have questions or issues, please reach out at support@gitguardian.com.

You can follow the progress of the maintenance on our status page

Thanks,

The GitGuardian Team
